Accounting Technical Support Add-On

What is Technical Support?

If your organization is an accounting and compliance service client, your organization receive up to 4 hours of technical support each year.  This time may be used for work performed by anyone on our team, including the CPA. Unused time does not carry over from year to year.

You may purchase additional technical support time in 2 hour increments.  Purchased technical support time may be carried over from year to year.

When the new year begins, we will apply technical support time to the time available under accounting service plan first.  Once this time is used, we will apply technical support time to the paid support hours available.  This way, your unused paid support time will carry over from year-to-year.

Here's how our clients use this additional support.

  • Answer questions about how to code transactions.
  • Answer tax and compliance questions as issues arise.
  • Help with data entry issues.
  • Prepare state sales tax returns.
  • Prepare amended payroll tax returns.
  • Troubleshoot account reconciliation issues.
  • Re-compute tax withholding requirements for ministers for changes in compensation.
  • One hour strategy session per year between the CPA and senior management to review the financials, discuss next year's goals, or other business matters.
  • Compute how much the church can afford to borrow.
  • Help figure out if the church can hire another worker or increase someone's pay and how will that impact the financials.
  • Discuss details for a new lease agreement or building acquisition.
  • Provide guidance for preparing an annual budget.
